Fundraising

Effective grant writing requires more than good writing. It takes an understanding of nonprofit management, program design and implementation, and evaluation. I apply my extensive experience leading programs, fundraising, and consulting with foundations to create concise, compelling—and successful—grant content.

Marketing

Important causes deserve compelling content, but communications capacity is often under-resourced in the social sector. I love nothing more than helping a nonprofit or corporate social responsibility team tell the story of their impact through tangible work products like web copy, profiles, reports, videos, press kits, and blogs.

Field-Building

After 20 years of working in the sector, I am passionate about nonprofit professionals. I write commissioned reports and practitioner guides, and design and deliver learning experiences across platforms. Tap my signature brand of conversational communications to build awareness and understanding for your audience.
