Students and cybernauts...
Welcome to the millennium-beginning edition of ATDP's Internet Classroom! Prepare to engage your minds on a wild trip that will take you through the farthest reaches of the Internet as it currently sprawls. Be ready to contribute to the Internet in the form of your web pages and weblogs.
By the end of these six weeks--which we guarantee will rush past like a torrential summer rainsquall--you will be fluent in HTML, the lingua franca of the Internet. You'll be able to design your own web pages and websites with aplomb but, more importantly, you'll be able to see (and think about) the Internet in ways you haven't before.
Use this page as your daily launching pad, for each session's activity and schedule, and as an index to your website projects as well as your classmates' sites. This page will also contain frequently changing news items about the course and much other relevant stuff. So, bookmark this page now, both at the lab and at home.
Consider this your cyberhome for the next six weeks. Get comfy, start coding, start designing, start stretching your imagination as far as it can go...
