These were the original webloggers from the summer of 2000's academic community at the UC Berkeley ATDP's Internet Classroom (TIC) and Advanced Internet Classroom (AIC). Of the 45 individuals in this group, 20 continue to maintain their weblogs—many of which migrated from EditThisPage to the ATDP Manila server. (Active webloggers' names are indicated in bold type.)
Along with the original TEXTS (me and my students), I started an URTEXTS list—adult colleagues, friends and acquaintances who began weblogging too; and then FAMILY—members of my farflung clan.

The Ripples...

This group consists of peers, classmates and schoolmates whom the original 2000 TIC and AIC student webloggers enjoined to start their own weblogs. I've already stopped monitoring who has gotten whom to weblog, but the ripples continue to spread, suggesting an organic dynamism in this (very) loosely knit community of writers and individuals.
